This program was grant funded by the Virginia for Healthy Youth organization. The curriculum used is Too Good for Drugs and designed to equip youth and teens (grade appropriate) with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes they need to make better choices while dealing with challenges they are presented in life!
The Too Good program provides social emotional learning, is evidence based, comprehensive and promotes academic achievement.
There are ten weeks of lessons to include the following: Goal Setting, Managing Emotions, Respect for Self and Others, and more. Our partners for this program are the Nottoway Public Schools, The Amelia/Nottoway Alternative School, and the Nottoway and Dinwiddie First Time Offender programs.
