The Organization:
The Life Changing Community Development Corporation (LCCDC) was founded and incorporated as a nonprofit on March 27, 2001.

Since its inception, the Life Changing Community Development Corporation has assisted youth and their families in communities from Washington, DC to Raleigh, NC with services and activities that prevent issues such as teenage pregnancy, bullying, and alcohol and drug abuse.

Who We Are:
This organization is comprised entirely of volunteers, from the grant writing, advertising, and even program supervision and instruction. LCCDC represents community building in it's purest form and is comprised of individuals from all over the county. We partner regularly with other civic groups, local schools and colleges, and faith-based community organizations.
We believe that together we can give all children the opportunities and resources they need to succeed. All of our volunteers undergo a background check and interview process. Interested in joining the cause? We would love to have you! Contact us for further information!
The Center:
Located in the heart of Blackstone, our center is conveniently located next to various baseball fields, and hosts a large park area for public use. The center also has a basketball court, a fully functional dance studio, and two large community rooms for programs that can also be rented out by members of the community for private events.
Program Areas:
We strive to offer a diverse array of educational and enrichment programs for youth, teens, families and adults. Our primary focus is offering experiential learning opportunities to young people who otherwise may not have the resources. We also offer affordable summer camp and after-school enrichment programs that focus on building character, homework assistance, and teamwork.
